Jaret Cole

Born and raised in Texas and surrounded by country and folk music from an early age, Jaret Cole is a burgeoning young country singer-songwriter in the Texas and Southwestern music scene. Inspired by legends of his native Austin and beyond like Lyle Lovett, Willis Alan Ramsey, Asleep at the Wheel, and Walter Hyatt, Jaret combines clever lyrics with that old school country sound to create an unmistakably Texan musical experience.

 

In addition to his gifts as a singer songwriter, Jaret is a talented multi-instrumentalist, composer, arranger, and producer. Currently studying at Berklee College of Music on a full ride scholarship, he plays guitar, piano, bass, harmonica, lap steel, and dobro. Jaret is currently pursuing a degree in Professional Music, with focused tracks in contemporary writing, music production, and scoring for media.

Jaret released his debut EP, The Hill Country Demos, a lo-fi, raw collection of original folk songs in 2025, which is available now on all streaming platforms
